This assesses a product's nutritional quality, penalizing for high
energy, saturated fat, sugar, and salt, while rewarding for fruits,
vegetables, fiber, and protein.
Ingredients & Additives
Each ingredient is analyzed for its health impact. We penalize for
artificial additives, preservatives, and highly processed
ingredients.
NOVA Group
This classifies a food's level of processing. A lower NOVA group
(less processed) significantly improves the score, prioritizing
whole foods.
Organic Bonus
Certified organic products receive a bonus, reflecting sustainable
and chemical-free agricultural practices.
